About Cathy Bednar, M.A.

I found that my astrological chart was an invaluable tool into understanding myself and my motivations. I recognized that I had an interest in astrology when I was in high school. I started reading about astrological signs and their meanings at that time. Throughout the years, I would always gravitate back to astrology as a point of reference and interest. I graduated from high school, went to college for my bachelor’s degree in education and then a master’s degree in human resource management, and worked in human resources for 20 years. I studied astrology within this period off and on and then started to interpret charts. I realized that the best use of my talents and gifts was to become an astrologer. I wanted to assist people with finding out more about themselves, confronting their challenges positively, and using their talents to experience true happiness and inner peace.

I look at a chart (w)holistically and then I dissect it into individual pieces. It is similar to fitting pieces of a puzzle together—the chart defines your soul’s intentions for this life. But whether you believe you have a soul or not, astrology is a beneficial development tool for the present.

I give practical astrological guidance that you may use in your everyday life. You do not need to know anything about astrology in order to get a reading. I help people discover their talents and motivations, as well as lead them down the path to self-discovery and self-development. Although astrology acts as a guide, it is still up to you to make your own choices. Discover how these astrological insights can work for and benefit you.

I am a Pittsburgh astrologer and am available for direct consultations as well as those over the telephone. Many of my clients are out of the Pittsburgh area.

I was featured in the Pittsburgh Post Gazette on April 19, 2007, as a local astrologer. To read the article, “Astrology: Ancient Art has New Fans,” click on the link below:
